Mushfiqul Anwar Siraji is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at North South University, Bangladesh. His research sits at the intersection of environmental psychology, cognitive psychology, and psychometrics. He investigates how light, particularly its non-visual, non-image-forming effects, shapes cognition, alertness, mood, and sleep across populations. Alongside this, he develops and validates psychological instruments for underrepresented linguistic communities, with a focus on rigorous, reproducible methodology. He earned his PhD from Monash University Malaysia under Prof. Shamsul Haque, and has collaborated with researchers at Harvard Medical School, the Technical University of Munich, and Eindhoven University.
